This is a simple method of installing internet-EPG on Neumo based images. I used the latest stable release Neumo 2.13.6.

1. FTP your box (use DCC, FileZilla...)

1. Navigate to /var/media
2. Create folders "epg" and "opt" (chmod 755)

2. Telnet your box (use DCC, Putty...)

1. Type "ipkg update"
2. Type "ipkg install xmltv"
3. Type "ipkg install relookepg"
4. Type "/var/media/epg/software/epg.php -setup"

You now have a basic setup. After rebooting you will see PC screens in your channel list next to supported TV channels. Press the "check" button to activate or deactivate internet EPG for supported channels.

A crontab is added so that internet EPG checks your channel list every 20 minutes to see if updates are needed. You can force updates from telnet:

1. Type "/var/media/epg/software/epg.php -run"
2. Type "/var/media/epg/software/epg.php -update-dbepg"

It isn't a bad idea to run the setup command from time to time (especially after changes to the database):

• Type "/var/media/epg/software/epg.php -setup"

There is another method to install internet epg easily. Fantacyteam has a script which downloads the necesarry files from their servers. It's a bit bulkier but it works.
