All modes require that tuner is switched off with powerbutton on the backside of the tuner.

1. USB upgrade mode: Press and hold the POWER button on front of tuner. Power on the tuner with the powerbutton on the backside. Release POWER button on front when the display says: "USB UPGRADE"

2. Format Harddrive: Press and hold POWER button and ARROW DOWN on the front of the tuner. Power on the tuner with the powerbutton on the backside. After 3 sec release POWER button, still keep pressing ARROW DOWN until the display says: "FORMAT HDD"

3. Debug Shell: Press and hold POWER button and ARROW LEFT on the front of the tuner. Power on the tuner with the powerbutton on the backside. After 3 sec release POWER button, still keep pressing ARROW LEFT until the display says: "DEBUG SHELL"
