Enigma is a graphical user interface (GUI) with drivers to 'talk' to the hardware. It was first developed for the DBox2, later it was adapted for the Dreambox Linux satellite receiver. Its functionality can be expanded by so-called 'plugins', 'add-ons' and 'skins'. It has been first ported to DGStation receivers by "DGS-Enigma team" who released their Basic Enigma in 2006. Other teams made a lot of variaties since then, for the 200s, 250s and 400s and Prime. Teams who release and support Enigma are: Other images - such as Gemini, PLI and many others - are created on an unofficial basis. These images are adapted by hobbyists and based on the original team images. This means that there is no support by the original teams. The good news is that drivers are fully adapted to DGS boxes, so these images should work OK. Nevertheless, always check the forum for comments on these images.
Enigma only supports one tuner, so it's impossible to use 2 tuners on the 400s under Enigma.
