I just need to report EPG for 28.2e is working fine for me in PGI 1.3, only IT4+1 not updating, but thats as its not on sky's schedule.
Ive had lots of problems with PCeditor, this can effect the epg not working, especially if you manually add channels..must do a full scan and then use PCEditor to organise favourites....must use a clean directory in PC editor with each download of sat database

Can we expect any improvements regarding nordic subtitles in PGI 1.4?
I think this is the only reason atm, for me not upgrading from PGI 0.73.

Hi. I must agree, the same here with some CD nordic channels not displaying any TXTT subtitles at all.
I can confirm at least
Canal+ Action, Canal+ Emotion and also the channel Silver. Any chance we'll have TXTT subs working on these channels?/jannek999
What's the problem wih the 28.2E epg? It's working OK with me (delete epg dat and wal files, delete radio chanel epg background audio and rescan for the radio channel)

I've tried everything I've read in every post. It downloads fine, but just doesn't transfer to the main epg. It worked once for a fleeting moment, but all info had gone from the epg the next time I tried to look at it.
I have spent days trying to get it to work. I've tried every suggestion in every forum post and more. It is so frustrating.

delete the files as mentioned, and delete the epg background audio channel, turn background scanning to off.
reboot the box, scan 11778v/27500 to get the epg background radio channel back.
make sure you have a favourite folder with all the TV channels you wish to use 7 day EPG, and add the epg background radio channel to it as we..
now simply tune to the radio channel, epg background radio and leave it for 10 mins or so..
re boot the box and you should now get 7 day epg, some channels still get now and next but mostly get 7 day
Hopefully 1.4 will be compatible with Openvpn...
regarding the subtitles on some canal + channels, if I go to teletext page 199 I get Swedish subtitles on thus channels
a possiblity to stop the HDD from spinning up every hour when box is in stand by.
And mostly, the EPG, and disable the swap on the HDD as well.
I think it might be the epg cleanup that starts the HDD
