If the epg (28.2E) worked as well as it did in PGI 1.2 and the recording worked as well as PGI 1.3 - PGI 1.4 would be perfection for me

With a little luck.....

well, pgi 1.3 is pretty much perfect! but I do have some ideas for added features..
1. ability to to automatically add shows to recording schedule......based on name and channel.....after update to epg, eg search .?time team .? @ .?Channel 4.?...maybe cron/execute sql with web interface??
2. ability to automatically update transponder list via initial setup up menu and channel search @ (kingofsat)
3. full media streaming server with remote and epg data access so you can watch live tv in your mediaportal/xbmc and control receiver.
just ideas! as I say 1.3 is spotty dog..so thankyou team pgi, i know you have put many ideas and hours into the project, and i do very much appreciate it

total agree 100%..
ive just got back into my 9000, and chose to try the PGI image after a year out and i am very impressed with it, only the UK EPG lets it down, and oscam sometimes stops and wont restart, but only a few times, so a much improved effort since my last experiences.
Keep up the good work supporting Cuberevi pacco, arvy, pooya and anyone else i have missed out, and also all the friends i ever known during my last 5 or 6 years of owning an IPbox 9000.
I am glad i never sold ir now

Yes i m happy to because this box is realy nice since pgi 1.2 and better with this last 1.3 recording and watching tv is realy perfect i don"t have any freeze or stoping cam using mgcamd on addon 009.thx again to pgi team and keep on your great work...Posted 3 months ago # -
First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the PGI team's excellent work.
I would like the following function to be added if possible.
1. Enhance the interface of recorded file management by
a) add folder-function which allows to make folder and allow the recorded files to be stored at different forlder.
b). Add a function of recorded-file attribute such as read only to avoid the file to be deleted accidently.(current it only has the lock function)
c). Change the recorded-file management menue's default starting function away from DELETE to any other function.2. Add some kind procedures to monitor the DiSEqC switch's state. When It detects the DiSEqC switch does't switch properly, send a repead switch command. It is mainly used when timer-recording.
3. Maybe too many? add a very simple recorde-file editing function to cut the front and end of the recorded file (mainly used for cut over recorded files because many channels do not keep their programm starting on time, we may have to over record

I have some ideas for added features..for pgi 1.4
can creat emu manager plugin for pgi? when prees color key see emu manager and change emu or start or stop emu and etc....
Posted 3 months ago # -
Hmm not really our interest and we couldn't even do that as in most countries using emu's is illegal. But any other plugin writer can make such a thing
Posted 3 months ago # -
The emu manager is built in in the webif.
Go to >System >CS Control and change emu for start, config and what else....Posted 3 months ago # -
Hehe, and it comes from the addon, not from the image
